News AND Previous Games
News
I have decided to make Parkournicorn 2 come out in chunks, since there is so much content to make. Most of the game should be out soon, and other things (such as other worlds and bosses) will be available later in newer versions.
I have recently realized that I never displayed my previous games, so here they are now:
Previous Games
Chowdown
Chowdown was the first game I ever made in Makecode Arcade. It was not my first game EVER, but in general, I had low experience in making games.
How it began
It all started when I went to the Microsoft Store for a class on Makecode Arcade (sadly, the microsoft store no longer exists). The class showed basic functions like how to make a character move, collect objects, and say things. I decided to make my character "Mr. Bleah" (I had used him previously in comic strips). Mr. Bleah looked like Pac-Man, but with eyes and a tongue that always stuck out.
After a bit of work I turned it into this:

Chowdown V1
And Chowdown V1 was out! You could collect apples to gain points, collect rocks to lose points, and the game ended in 20 seconds. I made a game! But it felt like it needed more.
Chowdown V2
Mr. Bleah now said "yummy!" when he collects apples, and "not food!" when he collects rocks. The timer also lasts 60 seconds instead of 20, and objects fall quicker.
Chowdown V3
Things got interesting when I added music, sound effects, and a Golden Apple. I also redesigned the rocks to be poison apples.
Fun Fact: The 3rd Chowdown file was actually an extra save of V2, meaning that this is the 4rth file! The 5th and 6th files were also extra saves of V3, too!
Future Versions
V4 and V5 were failed attempts at a menu screen and the option to turn off sound.
V6 was an attempt at making time apples which reset the clock at a random time between 30 and 50 seconds and evil apples which subtracted 10 from your score.
V7 got rid of the clock and evil apples and replaced them with cherries (which gave 2 points) and poison cherries (which took 2 points).
V8 came with bananas and evil bananas.
V9 added grapes and evil grapes, which either gave or took 20 points
Eventually, I realized that all these additional things didn't really make the game better. V3 was decided to be the best version (minus the text)
